Instagram stories disappear after 24 hours, and Instagram itself has no save button. This site fills that gap: paste a public username and you can watch the stories, or keep a copy of one before it is gone.

It only works with public profiles. If an account is private, its stories are visible to approved followers and nobody else — no website or app can change that, and any service claiming otherwise is worth avoiding.

Common questions

Do I need to log in or give my Instagram password? +
No, and you should not. Never type your Instagram password into a third-party site, including this one. This tool only reads content that is already public, so there is nothing to log into.
Will the person know I viewed their story? +
Your account is not used to open the story, so your username does not show up in the "Seen by" list for that story.
Does it work with private accounts? +
No. Private stories are only visible to followers the owner has approved. Any site promising to open private profiles is either lying or trying to collect your login details.
What do I actually get when I download? +
Videos come as MP4 files and photos as JPG, in the resolution Instagram serves them. Nothing is added to the file.
Is any of this legal? +
Looking at content someone posted publicly is fine. Reposting it as your own is not — the person who made it still owns the copyright, so ask before you republish anything.
